Nozomi Ando

Nozomi Ando, PhD, is a Professor of Chemistry and Chemical Biology at Cornell University. Her lab develops experimental and computational approaches to understand protein dynamics and evolution. As a Prism collaborator, she brings expertise in structural biology methods, including X-ray crystallography and diffuse scattering, to efforts to extract conformational dynamics from experimental data. She trained in physics at MIT and Cornell before expanding into chemistry. She holds leadership roles at MacCHESS and NE-CAT and is a Schmidt Science Polymath.
