Clay is a Scientist working at the intersection of computational structural biology and machine learning. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Tennessee and his Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Auburn University, with research spanning cytoskeletal assembly, molecular dynamics, and machine learning for antibody binding and design. Before his current role, he was a postdoctoral researcher with Stephanie Wankowicz at Vanderbilt University, developing computational methods to characterize protein dynamics.
