Állan is a Scientist integrating structural biology approaches to study how protein dynamics shape function. He earned his B.S. in Chemistry from Universidade Estadual de Londrina and his M.S. and Ph.D. in Chemistry from Universidade Estadual de Campinas, where he developed methods combining experimental data with structure prediction. Before his current role, he was a Research Assistant Professor in the Rocklin lab at Northwestern University, developing multiplexed HDX-MS to investigate and engineer protein energy landscapes.
